Remember to keep practising your maths skills! This means working through your home learning packs and completing Studio sessions on TT. Rockstars (us teachers were very impressed with your efforts in the latest Teachers vs Students Rockstars battle!). Keep up the good work kids!
Don't forget you also have Mathletics to use and play on. They do have an app which can be downloaded from all app stores - just search for Mathletics. You can earn points, play games and set myself challenges! You already have the username and login for this site (it was on the paper we gave you). Use the link below to get to the website:
Rounding and Division
Below are worksheets from Google Classroom that will help children to practise their rounding and division skills. The have been split into Faces&Stars and Moons&Stars, so you will need to think back to what you would normally do in class and pick the sheets that suit your confidence.
We have made a short video for you to recap on the two division methods we have already practised in school. This is currently only accessible via google classroom but we are trying to find a way to upload the video to the website, so please bear with us!
Maths Challenges -
Calling all Mathematicians!
For you eager mathematicians out there, Friday is maths challenge day!
I will send out a set of mixed maths challenges or a maths investigation for you to complete - IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO - every week on a Friday and the deadline will be for the following Friday. This is an optional piece of work but I know how much some of you enjoy maths so I thought it would be fun. You might like to do all of them or just a couple of them, either way, it would be great if you gave some of them a go!
Write your answers and workings in the blue box on each page (it should work) or print out each challenge to complete. But, please make sure your final answers are very clear.
On some of the challenges, there are little top tips in the notes section under each challenge to help you work more independently, so don’t forget to check them out if you’re stuck!
We've scoured the web and have uploaded and list of maths games that could help you practise your maths skills in an exciting way. Most of the these online sites gives you the opportunity to challenge yourself in a way that suits you! Give them a go.
