Good morning from a beautiful but cold PGL - we can't wait to see you all later today to tell you about our week here.
The children are all packed up although some struggled to get everything back in their bags and they have had a full breakfast ahead of the final activities this morning.
We will be having lunch here at PGL before we head home - a text will be sent with our estimated time of arrival later today when we are on the road.
It's a cold but dry day (so far) here at PGL. The children were up and raring to take part in todays activities - did you see us say good morning?
There have been some great achievements by many of our children so far this week. So far today, Group 3 has seen Precious push herself out of her comfort zone and Yuvan conquered his fear of heights. He even managed to hit the ball after jumping off the trapeze - Well done mighty Yuvan!
There are also some wonderful displays of team work as the children work themselves around the challenge course and Noku jumped in the lake to rescue Jayden when the raft started to sink. After getting out of the water she declared 'hmmmm probably not my best decision'. Well done Noku.
Miss Charman's group have ended with 4 children in the water - I'm sure the parents are really looking forward to the washing at the end of the week.
I think it's fair to say that the majority of the children got very wet today - check out the pictures to see for yourself. Can you guess who forgot their towel?
Last night of fun activities here on camp. Check back tomorrow for more updates!
The children are up and ready for breakfast with a few sleepy faces.
So far today the children have been enjoying abseiling in the rain, had fun on the sensory trail and the zip wire.
We have been lucky with the weather (so far!) whilst its cold and windy we have managed to stay relatively dry. We are hoping the weather holds out for this afternoon's activities.
More action this afternoon on the zip wire and more images uploaded.
After dinner, the children headed off into the woods for tonight’s activity. The children are having a fabulous time, working hard together in team activities as well as learning new skills, pushing themselves and conquering fears. They are, without doubt, tired after a full day outside but tomorrow will bring even more excitement! Watch this space for more updates.
First night away from home done, the children are up and raring to go having had breakfast.
The children have had a fun filled day with activities which included giant swing, aeroball (soggy socks alert!) and climbing the wall. Now heading off for dinner, the evening activities before an early night (we hope).
5.30pm - The children have enjoyed a fun filled day with lots of activities. We have all done aeroball, the giant swing, buggy building and the climbing wall. The children have faced their fears with a few tears at the climbing wall but we are exceptional proud of everyone for giving it a go! We also have a few muddy socks from the aeroball. We are now just getting ready for tea.
The children are all in bed and asleep. It’s been an action packed day and will be again tomorrow.
