Special Educational Needs
Our Federation Inclusion Leaders (SENCO) are Mrs Tracey Bebbington (Nursery), Mrs Ceri Frost and Mrs Claire Cameron (Infant/Junior).
At Oakridge Schools Federation, we strive to support all children to enable them to achieve at school. To do this, many steps are taken to support them throughout their learning journey. High-quality teaching is vital. However, for some children, there are occasions when additional support may be needed to help them maximise their learning potential. At this point, children might be identified as having a Special Educational Need (SEN). This will mean that the child receives extra support so that they can make progress in their learning.
We endeavour to provide an inclusive education for all children. The majority of this comes from within the school, but sometimes we refer to outside agencies.
Please see our SEN Local Offer (attached) or contact the Inclusion Manager for further information.
