  • Oakridge children supporting the older people of Basingstoke

    This afternoon a group of year 4 and 5 children went to St Andrew's Methodist Church in South Ham to help with an arts and crafts session with the older people of Basingstoke.

    Oakridge are currently working alongside the Live At Home scheme which supports older people within Basingstoke by setting up events for them to attend together.

    Our children thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and they loved meeting the children and having them there. A fantastic afternoon was had by all!

  • Christmas lights at The Malls

    Tonight our children sang at the Christmas lights switch on at The Malls. The event was supporting the local charity St. Michael’s hospice. We thank all the children who participated and their family and friends for supporting the event. 
  • Odd Socks Day!

    To mark National Anti-Bullying Week, the children have come to school wearing socks. They are to represent that we are all unique and different.
