World Book day at the infants 5.3.20 - the day was full of exciting reading and book based activities. We held a book sharing assembly, reading cafe, podcasts were created and QR codes are available for parents to their child's class read their story and parents joined us to read and share stories. We were very lucky to have members of the communtiy join us (St. Michael's Hospice and Open Book) and read to the children too.

Anti-bullying week 2019 - Odd Sock Day. The theme this year is Change starts with us, small change big difference. Here are some photos of our odd socks, celebrating what makes us unique.
The sun shone and everyone had fun at our infant sports day. Thank you to all of our families who came to support, cheer the children on and even join in. They all did an amazing job.
Year 1 rewrote the story of Jack and the Beanstalk for the Nursery children. They enjoyed sharing their stories.
Year 1 and 2 have planted potatoes. They will take care of them as they grow. Hopefully, we will be able to harvest the potatoes and then cook them in school.
Children at the infants are chosen every week to visit Miss Charman or Mrs Millington for a tea party. They are chosen for doing that little bit extra, for example, being a good friend, being polite, being kind or helpful.

World Book Day...The children are having an amazing time celebrating books. Our theme this year is making mistakes and work is being based on the book 'The Most Magnificent Thing' along with many others. The children (and adults!) all look amazing, a big thank you to all our parents for creating amazing costumes.
We all looked very spotty for Children in Need. Thank you for your donations. So far, we have raised an amazing £428.32 across the Federation.
A dried flower arrangement, which is in the junior reception, has been donated to the school by a grandparent.
Another successful sports day at the juniors, all the children did very well. Thank you to everyone who attended.
We had a very successful sports day at the infants. The weather behaved itself and the children tried their best for their teams. It was lovely to see so many parents come to support us - thank you.
Some photos of the children taking part in various Spelling Bee activities. All children worked hard to spell words correctly to gain points for their team. A team in every class with the highest points have won a prize as well as lots of children receiving certificates for their achievements.
Work has started in our school grounds. This will be a castle very soon!
